Welcome to TCEMSA!

Taylor County EMS Association is made up of EMS Providers throughout Taylor County, located in southwest Iowa. EMS Departments in Bedford, Blockton, Clearfield, Gravity, Lenox, and New Market.

This website will be serve the EMS community and the public with information regarding EMS activities, issues and health concerns. It will help to improve communication and cooperation between the EMS departments in Taylor County. Still to come is information on recruitment and retention of volunteers, and self-study classes that EMS providers can complete for optional education hours.

  • H1N1 flu has become a national concern. VACCINE IS AVAILABLE AND PLENTIFUL. Click HERE to go to the CDC website for information about H1N1 flu. There is information for healthcare providers, schools, and the general public about flu symptoms, precautions, and more. A national call center has been established to answer questions from the public: 800-447-1985. This number will be answered 24 hours a day.
