Welcome to TCEMSA!

Taylor County EMS Association is made up of EMS Providers throughout Taylor County, located in southwest Iowa. EMS Departments in Bedford, Blockton, Clearfield, Gravity, Lenox, and New Market.

This website will be serve the EMS community and the public with information regarding EMS activities, issues and health concerns. It will help to improve communication and cooperation between the EMS departments in Taylor County. Still to come is information on recruitment and retention of volunteers, and self-study classes that EMS providers can complete for optional education hours.

• Iowa EMS Scope of Practice is changing later this year! Check the IDPH Bureau of EMS website for the details of what you need to do to complete the transition to your new level. The new EMS levels are Emergency Medical Responder, EMT, Advanced EMT, and Paramedic.
